Sample Language for Your Will or Trust

A Few Simple Words Can Create Your Legacy

The following language may help you and your attorney when drawing up a bequest that meets your needs.

Residuary bequest:

“I give to The Catholic Church Extension Society of the United States of America, (Tax ID #36-6000520), a nonprofit organization currently located in Chicago, IL, or its successor thereto, [all or ______ %] of the residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to be used for its general support and charitable purpose without restriction.”
